365. A building constructed or altered prior to 25 May 1984 and containing a floor that does not end with a vertical fire separation from the floor to the underside of the floor or roof and have a fire resistance rating at least equal to the rating for the floor on which it abuts must meet the requirements of NBC 1980 am.
